But, wait!

One more. Consort just read the blog with the winners and said, "Where's Judy?" And I explained that I felt like four was almost too much and five was too much and it killed me but Judy was cut. And then Consort said, "Judy's answer was hilarious and five is too many to whom, exactly? It's your blog, it's your rules."

And he's right, isn't he?

Judy, write to me. I have a book of yours.

Okay, Consort, I like you! (My vote was for Judy - it was the one that resonated with me.)

And five is a much better number or prizes than four.

I tuned in too late for the contest (and my entry isn't all that amusing), but: a friend from grad school (who shall remain nameless here but after whom this test is named) suggests one simple question:

On those first few dates, does he ask you any questions?

It could be applied the other way 'round, too, but it arose because the women I know frequently find themselves on a date with a man who chatters away, answers her questions, etc., but never asks a single question about her, her life, interests, whatevs.

I'm a first time visitor, coming over from Judy's site, which I read daily unless I'm half-dead or away from a computer. I LOVE JUDY! Anyway, I'll have to scroll further to see what this is all about, but Judy is one of the most genuinely funny people I've ever come across. And I don't even remember how I did, but we've been bloggy buddies for years now, especially since we're both stay-at-home grandmas helping out with raising our grandbabies. I have two sweet ones myself! She told me not long ago, "Every day, I wish we were neighbors". Well, I feel the same way about her. She's a jewel of the finest kind.

Thank you Quinnn...my book arrived today! It's arrival only proved to solidify the neighbors' fear that I am certifiably a nutcase seeing as though I couldn't help dance all the way back into the house with your book as a partner. Thank you thank you thank you!!!! Laundry be damned....I'm reading all weekend long!
