Okay, Quinn, I just posted the following message on Oprah's website, so let's keep our fingers crossed and see what happens! Kim P. from San Diego
Quinn Cummings, the child actor from The Goodbye Girl and Family, has had a wonderful blog for years, The QC Report, and has just published her first book Notes from The Underwire. She is extremely intelligent, very evolved, consistently hilarious, and a keen observer and reporter of the human condition. She is truly fabulous and I would absolutely love to see an interview with her on the show. Also, she does not have the funds for a big promotional book tour, so she is only doing a blog tour to promote her book. I think this is a book that would be loved by all, and I would love it if an appearance on Oprah would allow this book to be shared by the many people who would be certain to enjoy it. (No, I don't know her or work for her...I just read her stuff and think this is a good idea!)
I HATE beagles! Just sayin'. I love the sound of your book, though. Antique Mommy sent me here, and I will be on the lookout for it once I arrive in the Developed World. There are no bookstores here. There was once a beagle, though. Oh my God, I hated that dog.
I just finished reading Quinn's book and absolutely loved it! It is, by far, the best book I have read in ages. Quinn is a witty, smart, hilarious author. Please Quinn, write more!
I have just posted a note on Oprah's website. Wouldn't it be just wonderful to see Quinn on The Oprah Show!
I was going to post to mention that the links to The Dog Lived aren't "live" (and it would be http://thedoglived.blogspot.com) but it seems folks were able to copy and paste, so now I'm just going to say...you really can't "HATE" a dog. Especially a beagle.
And yes, Quinn should be on Oprah. In her gray slacks.

OK, guys, let's ALL go to Oprah's site and suggest that Quinn appear on the Oprah show - it's easy; you just fill in a form.
Can't hurt. Unless Quinn is adverse to appearing on Oprah.
