In response to your letters alerting me to your tall and independent children, please know that Hiphugger has taken note.
Research and Development has now started working on a Hiphugger which doesn't carry children, but helps them pay down college loans and keeps them from moving back home in their mid-twenties.

Brava!
I especially need one for the eldest, who plans on smashing atoms for a living and will probably be in college for damnear a decade.
Excellent news!
I need one for my eldest, who is currently working on her Masters in Library Science. She refuses to admit that the internet and tightening budgets are slowly causing town or school libraries to cut back on staff and hours.
Too late on the "keeps them from moving back home in their mid-twenties" part...but help in paying down the Grad School loans will be appreciated!
i just want him out of his three year run as a freshman please!! i think it is taking the whole free spirit thing a bit too far and i don't really care what he has been told about what i did when i was in college!! the not moving home one is a grand idea too!!

Would you please have R&D come up with something so my kids can carry me around? I think it's their turn.
Elle, I'm working on my MLIS now, and I hope you're wrong about the job market, if only for your daughter's sake. We're being told that librarians are retiring at a terribly convenient pace for us up-and-coming folk.
Or maybe that's just an evil plan to swindle us out of our tuition money.
Quinn, if Hiphugger needs anyone with cataloguing and information retrieval skills, you may be able to recruit some wannabe librarians from your readership.
